The Citroen C3 has been revised and is visually and technically the beginning of March at the Motor Show in Geneva for the first time. Only a month later, the car is allowed to enter the dealership. The previous version, the French sold almost three million units to date. Similar success is to be hoped that now again. If the new engines PureTech can confirm the promises generous marketing department in Paris, in practice remains to be seen.
Visually C3 model year 2013 is quite new. These innovations Todone the front of the car directly in the eye. The air inlet was, as it has done for models sisters, improved significantly. The designers have also supported the redesign of the headlights. These are now much pulled in the direction of the flange and which are connected by the solid material in the width trademark logo. Behind the cover glass leaded LED strips that the connection is still in progress, thus ensuring they can also be easily understood in the light of other road users. The most striking feature is the inside far developed in the Zenith windscreen roof section. It aims to increase the overall vision of the driver and of course can be a lot of light in the car. At the rear taillights are redesigned.
Inside, the new C3 surface materials and applications have been missed. There will also be some new optional features including a novel navigation and audio system. But actually, the cockpit of the small car is more practical and sober therefore designed. A revolutionary design, the developers unfortunately not truly succeeded. As could have been be a bit bolder. Under the hood, there are two new customers for the three-cylinder petrol engine with 1.0 and 1.2-liter displacement and 68 hp and 82 feeder. The engine range is supplemented by five diesel engines with an output of 70 to 115 hp. The new, already mentioned PureTech engines will increase the performance of the car by 15% and bring a fabulous sounding consumption savings of 25% with it. With these efficient engines should one also can be more environmentally friendly way (from 87 g CO2/km). It all sounds too good to be true, you'd think. What will this cost me, has not yet been announced.
