Opel has the thumbscrews now attracted even more in economy. The Opel Astra 1.6 CDTi consumed in the lowest speed with 110 hp now only 3.6 liters of diesel per 100 km and discharges per kilometer only 94 grams of CO2. He is due to reduced friction drive, low rolling resistance tires and improved aerodynamics to the lowest emission Astra ever. Why is he still can not keep up with the competition with these values, but we explain in this article.
Opel has his little diesel missed a Spritsparkur. The 110 hp Opel Astra 1.6 CDTi will now take place on 100 kilometers only 3.6 liters of diesel swallow as before 3.7 liters. This then also leads to a reduction of the value of the CO2, which is now at 94 grams per kilometer. The 136 hp version of this unit is now saving more fuel.
Also rolling resistance tires and a slightly improved aerodynamics could help. The prices for this model remain even after the fuel saving constant at least 20,640 euros. The 136 Hp model costs continue to 22,240 euros. Despite the measures in this Astra is not the most economical in its class: the CO2 optimum for compact diesel cars currently holds the Peugeot 308 with 82 grams per kilometer. But Opel want to make it with the new Astra, which will probably come the end of the year in similar regions.
