The small sport utility Chevrolet dealership will this winter in Canada, and will be sold in more than 140 countries.
The Trax and his little cousin the Buick Encore open the door, in North America, a whole new niche vehicles soon will be in sufficient numbers to worry the market for compact SUVs and crossovers.
A beautiful interior
Despite its relatively small size, the vehicle can accommodate up to five passengers, protected against collisions by ten air cushions and curtains.
Its storage space vary between 532 and 1371 liters, once the seat lowered.
Trendy, the vehicle will be provided systems:
to satellite radio;
Bluetooth with voice recognition;
hands-free phone.
One engine
Under the hood lies a valiant four-cylinder turbo Ecotec 1.4-liter that delivers 138 hp of power for a couple of 148 lb-ft.
The FWD models are available in both manual and automatic transmissions with six speeds, while the AWD Trax up to do the automatic gearbox.
