Nissan plans to offer 15 hybrid vehicles by 2016

Currently, the only fully ecological model sold by the Japanese manufacturer in North America, is the all-electric LEAF.

However, Nissan has announced the release of 2016 15 hybrid vehicles.

A new approach is part of the Nissan Green Project 2016.

The manufacturer talks, among other things, a technology of its own, which includes a four-cylinder 2.5-liter combined with an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery.

Although Nissan did not mention any particular model, one can easily imagine that the Altima and Maxima ranges should be the first to benefit from this new hybrid technology.

Recall that the division of luxury vehicles Nissan Infiniti already offers its M luxury sedan powered by a hybrid engine.
