Bugatti Veyron - The Alsatian manufacturer today unveiled the first images of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Speed Legend Jean Pierre Wimille to be presented at next Elegance Pebble Beach to be held from August 16 to 18, 2013 in California contest.
This new version of the hypercar from Molsheim to be produced only three copies, paid tribute to the great French car champion who is particularly taxed twice at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1937 and 1939 driving a Bugatti.
Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Speed Legend "Jean-Pierre Wimille" features a blue and carbon delivered Wimille clear. These bluish hues are inspired by those of the Bugatti 57G Tank Jean Pierre Wimille flying in association with Robert Benoist 37. The blue color will be taken to dress the interior (seats, dashboard, center console, doors against) the Veyron.
Wolfgang Schreiber, Bugatti president to explain why these versions in a few lines: "Bugatti has been marked by famous personalities and historical moments. We want to tell their exciting stories with Legends Bugatti and simultaneously build a bridge between the past and the present of the brand. "
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Speed Legend Jean Pierre Wimille is the first of a series of six special series that will be on the market within the next 12 months.
