Land Rover Range Rover Sport: Soon with the SD4 Engine

Land Rover Range Rover Sport - We all know that the new Range Rover Sport will be unveiled in its hybrid version at the next Frankfurt Salonde and that it will be powered by a V6 but another version is expected to follow in early 2014 know! 

We have already discussed, it is in this case a version 4 cylinder diesel engine which is intended primarily to allow the extension of the range of customers and thus increase sales volumes of the British SUV.

So in about 6-7 months, the Range Rover Sport borrows his little brother L4 engine Evoque 2.2 SD4 L in a slightly modified version with 200 hp and 430 Nm (190 hp on Evoque and 420 Nm). For cons, the Range Rover Sport engine block that forsake the BVA6 the Evoque BVA8 to use other versions of this large SUV. With this engine, the Range Sport can compete with the X5, ML 250 Bluetec and other Murano 2.5 L dCi. No other information at the moment but it's a safe bet we learn more in the next school year.
