Audi presents at the motor show in Geneva, the second generation of its R8 super sports car. The V10 engine is 397 kW / 540 PS and 449 kW / 610 hp will be available in two power levels. Especially in the top version of the R8 V10 plus 610 hp Performance is infernal: from 0 to 100 km / h going it into 3.2 seconds, the top speed is 330 km / h.
The R8 is up to 50 kilograms lighter than the previous model. Audi also offers a laser spot, which doubles the range of the high beam to 600 meters, and the dynamic front turn signal, which is at the tail series.
The second generation of the Audi R8 is the basis for other models. The electrically driven supercar R8 e-tron will come market, at least in a small series on. In his new stage of evolution provides the Audi R8 e-tron 340 kW of power and 920 Nm of torque.
