The three-cylinder engines make comfortable more and more in the compact class, and so there is the Skoda Octavia now with three-cylinder engine. The fuel saver 115 horsepower and ensures that the VW's Czech subsidiary has ratcheted the price screw a bit further upwards.
In the Skoda Octavia has now a new three-cylinder engine. New slipped into the engine line-up is a 1.0 liter three-cylinder turbo gasoline. The fresh 1.0-TSI engine from the VW Group brother Golf produces 115 HP and supersedes the old, 110 PS strong 1.2 TSI. Switching can be done either via a manual six-speed gearbox or is taken over by a dual-clutch transmission with seven levels. The manual version, the Czechs give the consumption of the compact sedan with 4,4 to 4,6 liters per 100 kilometers. The DSG version 0.1 liters treats herself more on the standard distance. That's but still less than the predecessors, which swallowed an average 4.8 liter. These fuel saving can be Škoda but also to pay, because the base price rises, if only moderately, to 200 euros to at least 19.090. The prices for the combined start 19.750 euros.
There is a also plus at the facilities. So all Octavia models with a hands free system including PhoneBox come along now, which now offers the possibility to charge smartphones via induction. Also new: the Tablethalter in the shelf packages and the free updates of the maps a whole car life. Now an own cleaning nozzle ensures the self-cleaning rearview camera for that the driver always has clear view to the rear.
Also for the Skoda Octavia Combi Scout, there is a new unit 110 HP 1.6 TDI. Thus the prices at least 28.590 euros start. Now there's the 110 PS strong Octavia G-TEC also with a seven-speed direct transmission. The base price of the natural gas version including the DSG is 26.190 euros.
