2017 Honda Civic Hatchback - Although we saw the prototype of this model in Geneva, the production version of the Honda Civic hatchback had not yet been revealed. We knew that it would be presented shortly, but still lacked some details.
After a few photos-spies have surfaced, Honda has decided to formally unveil its Civic hatchback.
This is the first time since 1991 that Honda offers Civic four-door with a hatch.
In Civic Hatchback, the only engine available is the four-cylinder turbocharged 1.5-liter, it develops 174 horsepower and 162 ft-lb in LX, EX and EX-L. On Sport and Sport Touring, power increases to 180 horsepower. Why this additional muscle? In these versions, there is a central exhaust broadband. Whatever the version, the buyer will choose between an automatic CVT or a 6-speed manual.
Since the first purpose of a hatchback is to be practical, the Civic Hatchback has an internal volume of 3480 liters. Options available include the following Honda Sensing and heated seats, remote starter and the latest generation of Honda infotainment system, which includes the Apple and Android carplay Auto functions.
This new finish with two good news: First, the Civic Hatchback will arrive home this fall. Second, this is the version that will be the basis for the Type-R North American.
