Nissan Extreme Concept


Nissan at the Sao Paulo Auto Show is being presented the extreme concept. A study that meets the current spirit of the crossover SUV. But more than that: It may be here to foresee the future design language of the Japanese car manufacturer?

Together with the American design team at Nissan, they developed the Extreme Concept in San Diego. Described as a rally car for the city, one wants to address young and athletic assessed urbanites who like to go sometimes into the green. For tendencies SUV speaks especially the high ground clearance. The athletic approach is mainly evident in the roof section, the reminder of a coupe.

The foundation for the extreme Concept is Nissan's V-platform, also to be found with the current models of the Micra. Due to the flexibility of this platform, it is up to the builder to incorporate a front-or all-wheel drive. If one goes into production, the four-cylinder engines were the current Juke an option, a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine with 190 hp. However, Nissan is still nothing was said about a series production.
The Extreme Concept is a two-door is 3.85 meters long and has a wheelbase of 2.45 meters. 19-inch wheels make it mobile.
