American vintage 2015 will be here in 6 weeks and it will be the last for the singular but still attractive and high performance CTS-V Coupe . The renewal of the Cadillac range for two years, the arrival of the new XTS , ATS, CTS and ATS- Coupe grow out cars born during the first decade of the XXI century.
This is the case of the CTS-V Coupe , which will be a lot with the sedan of the same name for rejuvenation and improving the image of Cadillac. Also to mark the occasion and celebrate this supercar that dare not speak its name , Cadillac puts on the market 2014/2015 , the CTS-V Special Edition which differs from standard versions by finishing details and amenities.
The sporty coupe care of his appearance and plays on the little details to differentiate it from other models. We discover a radiator grille and 19-inch wheels ( Five Twin- Spoke model ) pavements 245/40 R 19 front and 285 /35 R 19 at the rear ) in the dark graphite color . This dark highlights taillights, a few chrome and red Brembo brake calipers . The set is nice and powerful when you make the choice of black livery . The coupe offers two other colors which are White and Grey .
The interior of this release Special Edition 2015 changed little but offers some nice extras like a beautiful black leather upholstery stitched with red thread . We discover with pleasure the presence of the beautiful and very comfortable Recaro sports seats . We add some dark wood insert Sapelli , a trimmed steering wheel and special floor mats microfiber .
For the rest including the mechanical part , nothing changes. We thus find the famous V8 Supercharged 6.2 L Box 564 hp and 747 Nm , which takes the CTS- V Special Edition beyond 308 km / h and allows him to bend the exercise of 0-100 km / h in 4.0 seconds .
This version of the very sporty and luxurious coupe will be produced only 500 copies and will therefore quietly slip away in the coming months . However the line of Cad " V " is not so far off because waiting for next year a CTS- V but also an ATS -V ( sedan and coupe ?) That will come to hunt M3 / M4 and other RS4.
