2016 Toyota Tacoma set for Auto Show in Detroit

The latest version of the small Toyota pickup is headed for a debut at the upcoming Auto Show in Detroit in 2015.

Toyota believes that the pickup truck market is due for a comeback. Bill Fay as Managing Director of Toyota Division Said "With the new entries from the market is expected to grow,"  This new entries are the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, the two that hit the market this year, the first vehicles New to hit the segment in a while.

Toyota is so confident in the new Tacoma calling for an increase in production in Baja, California assembly plant. Tacoma still dominates the segment sales, although the overall sales of small cars fell by 2.7 percent this year, while the full-size trucks are up 6.6 percent.

Currently nothing about the new Tacoma is known, although it is probably safe to assume that the company designed the entire truck including their new drives.
