What distinguishes the GTS liveries?
First, they get a little more power, since engineers have added larger turbochargers. The 3.0-liter flat six-cylinder engine is powered from 420 in the 911 Carrera S to 450 horsepower for the GTS, which is 20 more horsepower compared to the previous GTS. The torque increases to 405 lb-ft, 37 more than in the case of Carrera S. The good news is that you can opt for a seven-speed manual transmission or an excellent dual clutch PDK.
In addition to their increased power, the GTS are distinguished by their dynamic style enhanced by the addition of several components. In particular, there is a black deflector at the front that blends with the rear wing painted in the same tone and which unfolds a little higher to maximize the aerodynamic support at high speed.
Other aesthetic novelties include Sport Design exterior mirrors, 20-inch wheels with a satin black finish and GTS black badges on the doors. The interior also benefits from a distinctive treatment with sport seats with GTS crest on the headrests and improved lateral support. The steering wheel, the ceiling, the shift knob and the armrests are also lined with Alcantara.
The GTS versions are in fact more exclusive editions that offer as standard a number of characteristics appreciated by buyers.
