2018 Chevrolet Corvette Carbon 65

Chevrolet has decided to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Corvette by marketing for 2018 an exclusive variant, the Carbon 65 Edition. Based on the Z06 3LZ and Grand Sport 3LT versions, the Corvette Carbon 65 stands out, as the name suggests by a complete set of carbon fiber components, including the rear spoiler, air intakes, hood and the wheel.

A single color is available, Matrix Gray, while a blue roof will fit the cabriolet. Brake calipers also painted in blue will be another way to distinguish this exclusive Corvette. Same observation on board while the blue theme was applied to door trim and door sills. The car was equipped with sport seats with suede inserts and blue stitching.

The operation is not only aesthetic. Using carbon fiber, the engineers managed to lighten the car a few pounds, enhancing its performance.

Unfortunately, the Corvette Carbon 65 Edition will be produced with only 650 copies of which 500 are reserved in the United States, leaving 150 units for export. A few Canadians will have the chance to own one and, in our opinion, it would be better to jump quickly on your checkbook because few dealers will have the chance to have one in the showroom.
