Just recently, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been comprehensively modernized and the first models can already be ordered. At the start of the event, the Mercedes-Benz will miss two new engines: the S 450 as the new entry-level model and the S 500.
The portfolio of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has now grown to a total of 24 different models thanks to the two new engines at the order start. The customer is spoiled for choice between nine petrol and diesel engines, rear wheel drive and 4Matic as well as short and long wheelbase and models from the Mercedes Benz, Mercedes AMG and Mercedes Maybach brands. New in the range of engines are the S 450 and the S 500. This is an electrified series six-cylinder with an integrated starter-generator on 48-volt basis. With the S 450, the driver has 367 hp and 500 Nm of torque available, and the S 500 can count to 435 hp and 520 Nm. If the electric assistance is still switched on by the generator, 250 Nm and 22 hp are available at short notice.
