The Hellcat Widebody gets the Demon's wing extensions, which add 9 cm (3.5 inches) to the width of a Challenger, and that allow the installation of wider tires. The Widebody is equipped with 20x11 "Devil's Rim alloy wheels, surrounded by Pirelli P Zero 305 / 35ZR20 tires.
The Hellcat Widebody features a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that develops 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, all powered by a 6-speed Tremec manual or an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic. Well, it's not as powerful as the Demon and its 840 horsepower, but that will have to be enough. Note that only 3,000 units of the Demon will be sold in the US, and only 300 units are planned for Canada.
The price of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody was set at $ 87,995, before adding the $ 2,495 transportation and preparation costs. The order book will open in July, and first dealer deliveries will begin later this summer.
