Lexus announced that the series of planned production of 500 copies of the two-seater sports car "LFA" is over.
The 500th LFA
The LFA was first produced at the LFA workshop in December 2010. Since then, the cars were built by hand at the rate of one LFA per day. In addition to the LFA model with standard specifications, from January 2012 the factory began producing the "LFA Nürburgring", whose specifications are adapted to the race circuit.
Once out of the assembly line Dec. 14, the 500th LFA will be delivered to the buyer after having been subjected to inspection and road tests.
