Although Chinese manufacturers have backed off on the low-end automobile copy and strive more to provide models of their own creation (though still quite inspired ...), some manufacturers (like YEMA Auto, for example) continue to ignore any notion of industrial property, selling rough and hastily developed successful models copies.
Also, when Volkswagen recently announced the postponement of the project Taigun 2016, it was an avenue to let our Chinese friends to capture the outline of the concept car Taigun (presented for the first time at Sao Paulo 2012) and get their copy ... even before the original model! These few drawings that were filed by a Chinese manufacturer (it apparently would Jiangsu Lake Motors), leave little doubt about "inspiration" of the new Chinese model: it is indeed a pseudo Taigun, even in the choice of color.
