At the IAA 2017 on 12th September, a new study of the PSA offshoot will be premiered. The then introduced Renault Symbioz is to show the ideas of the French brand for mobility in 2030. Since the emission requirements will be much tougher by now and the urban areas will change very much, the vehicle will be designed as an electric car right from the start. The Z at the end of the vehicle name stands for zero emission technology. The vehicle will therefore utilize 100% electric drive technology without local emissions.

According to the visionaries in the group, the lifestyle of people will also be digitized in the future, which is why the new fully-networked concept car is designed to meet the needs of digital lifestyle through its diverse networking capabilities. It is hardly necessary to mention that the car is also intended to enable autonomous driving. The concept car name "Symbioz" derives from symbiosis, which one would like to know at Renault as "cohabitation". In the view of the makers, the vehicles of the future are even more likely to enter into a permanent exchange with their environment, transport infrastructure and their vehicle users.
