2016 Honda HR-V was unveiled in final form US-spec at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2014.
Known vezel in other markets, the HR-V is based on the Honda Fit and began to compete with the likes of the Nissan Juke in the segment open small-crossover boom.
Like the Fit is below the Civic in the car the range of Honda, so the HR-V will sit below the CR-V in size and price, providing an entry point for cheaper crossover buyers when it goes on sale next year.
The outside seems to borrow a bit from both the Fit and CR-V. It has a height high fund, but the figure is smaller sedan truck crossed imitating.
The gauges also feature bright lighting rings and "Eco Assist" - which aims to guide the driver in a more fuel efficient behavior of my change of lighting of the speedometer from white to green when he or she is the economic engine.
While Honda was initially planned to offer 1.5-liter "Dreams of the Earth" the four-cylinder engine in the Fit HR-V, US buyers will instead get a larger with 1.8-liter unit producing 138 hp 127 lb-ft of torque.
An automatic transmission CVT is provided with two front wheel drive and four wheel drive, while the six-speed manual option will also be available on the FWD models only.
