To mark the opening of its new R & D in Beijing, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a concept car with some new green features.
The G-Code Mercedes-Benz could be a subcompact car crossover less than the present GLA category. it absolutely was designed with Chinese consumers in mind, but also appear to 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Under his typical dramatic concept car style, G-Code has a chain of hydrogen-electric hybrid powertrain.
Although Mercedes affected fuel cell, this concept simply burning hydrogen in an internal combustion engine which drives the front wheels. An electric motor is mounted on the rear axle, giving AWD G-Code.
The G-Code gets electricity from a battery on board - that can be charged from a conventional socket like a plug-in hybrid - but also several new types of recovery systems energy.

Finally, there is a good 'ole regenerative braking system as used in the production of hybrid vehicles, electric cars, and even some internal combustion models.
Three air vents around the oxygen pump produces synthesis hydrogen and two electric scooters are stored in the back, recharged by the battery of the vehicle.
Mercedes has not discussed plans to put the G-Code into production, but it would probably get a little more traditional powertrain.
