Two years after the beginning of its production, the last McLaren P1 comes out of factory.
Presented in 2012 at the Paris auto in the form of a simple model, the British supercar was produced from 2013 in the factory of the manufacturer in Woking. 375 copies later, here is the last released, coated with a delivered sample Volcano Orange.
There are a few copies of the track P1 GTR version to finish, what should be the case in the first months of next year, until McLaren finally closed the sole representative of its Ultimate Series line production line. No future variant planned, not cabrio, version race, no, nothing. What will be the most exclusive supercars of his generation (including the mid-engine Ferrari and Porsche 918 Spyder). Exclusive also because each copy of the McLaren P1 has been customized according to the desires of the client, in relation to the Department MSO (McLaren Special Operations). McLaren ensures that there are no two identical cars, something we believe happy because the few examples we have had the chance to meet were all different!
McLaren shows that there is so far no plan substitution or evolution of the P1. The brand will therefore concentrate at the moment on its Sports Series (540 c and 570S) lines and Super Series (675LT and 650S). The MSO Department has also started the conversion of certain P1 with the replacement of all their body parts in carbon.
