The Koreans have reworked their big seven-seater Kia Sorento. From now on, the basic model of the SUV powered by a 2.2-liter diesel with 200 hp can be ordered from 34,990 euros.
For the model year 2018 the Koreans have reworked their large-area SUV Kia Sorento. From now on it can be ordered from 34.990 euros. Among other things, the spacious seven-seater now features a modified front apron, LED headlights, a new steering wheel and an eight-speed automatic, which can also be controlled via the shift paddles on the steering wheel.
A 200 hp turbodiesel, which can optionally be ordered with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, provides for the propulsion in the basic version. The automatic versions can be coordinated with the four presets Eco, Comfort, Sport and Smart to the personal driving habits of the Kia-Piloten. For example, in the smart setting, vehicle parameters such as steering intensity or throttle are automatically adjusted by the vehicle.
The top model among the five available versions is a 2.2 CRDi AWD automatic platinum, which is equipped with leather trim, electric driver and passenger seat, front seat suspension, Harman Kardon premium sound system and 19 inch light alloy rims as well as parking assist, 360- Degree panoramic vision camera, adaptive cruise control system, autonomous emergency brake assist, lane change assistant, cross traffic warning and traffic sign detection points. The top version is still available for unchanged 51,690 euros, despite the clearly upgraded equipment. A GT version can also be found in the modified Sorento portfolio.
It can be ordered exclusively for the all-wheel-drive with automatic transmission and costs as Sorento 2.2 AWD automatic GT Line at least 49.690 euro. There are then LED front fog lamps, red-painted brake pads, side-stepping panels, a double-braided exhaust, leather interior, a perforated leather steering wheel, a GT-Line knob and a discreet GT-Line badge at the rear.
