Already at the presentation of the current compact model, it was announced the natural gas version Seat Ibiza TGI. Now comes the compact Spaniard with the 90 hp environmentally friendly CNG drive actually on the market. In order to offer the customers a purchase incentive for the low-emission vehicle, there is also equal to 2,000 Euro premium above.
With the CNG standard consumption the developers give 3.3 kg per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to a CO2 emission of 88 g/km. The switching between gas and gasoline operation should work automatically and imperceptibly. If the petrol engine is used as a drive, the consumption should be 5.0 liters per 100 km, equivalent to 114 g CO2 / km.
In order to boost the purchase right from the start, there is once again a price reduction of 2,000 euros for the customers, regardless of the diesel premium, so that the small car with the light environment is at the end with only 17,270 euros in the price list and thus only 30 euros more expensive than the turbo benzine with 95 hp. But also customers who want to buy the Ibiza despite diesel as a diesel can look forward, because now there is an even greater choice: The compact classic is now available with the 1.6-TDI with 80 and 95 hp. Both versions are expected to offer an NEDC standard consumption of only 3.8 l / 100 km (99 g CO2 / km).
