Mazda CX-5 sales that exceed expectations - Launched in 2012, the Mazda CX-5 wanted the new compact SUV brand and was the first model to receive all of its SKYACTIV technologies.
Combining a high level of fuel consumption, outstanding performance, exemplary safety and one of the most comfortable interiors and modular in its segment, the CX-5 has attracted the media and customers worldwide. Its sales and more than exceeded the expectations of the brand.
- Initial production: 160,000 units per year
- To meet the demand, production was increased to 200,000 units per year in the first instance, and then to 240,000 units per year recently.
