BMW i3 -While we are a fortnight of the official presentation of the i3, BMW unveiled this weekend a few specs of its new electric city car, is launching the pre-booking of i3 and i8, but also offers us some pictures of the i3 orange livery.
The i3 city car is a 5 door which measures 3.999 m long, rests on a wheelbase of 2.57 m and weighs 1195 kg empty. For those who are fans of tires "individuals", know that the i3 is based on 155/70 R 19. It is powered by an electric motor that delivers 125 kW (170 hp) and maximum torque of 250 Nm The power is sent to the rear wheels via a BVA1.
As to recharge lithium-ion batteries (8-year warranty), it is less than 30 minutes at 50 kW (80% of capacity) or 8 h on a household outlet 230 V with sufficient amperage. The Munich-based manufacturer offers its own wall charger, the BMW i Wallbox works with Maximum amperage available from the owner of i3. With i Wallbox, it will take 6 hours to fully charge.
