We discovered last September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, I want to talk about the new Hyundai i10 succeeding these days to the old version born in 2007. This "little girl" Atos wants to be more modern, more efficient, especially in terms of handling, better finished and better equipped than the predecessor. Hyundai i10 2014 is intended to be a self made taste of Europe at the gates of Europe, as produced in the factory HAOS (Hyundai Assan Otomotiv Sanayi) located in Izmit in western Turkey.
Compared to the model we know, this 2014 version of i10 is slightly more impressive and makes the following dimensions:
Overall length : 3.67 m
Overall width : 1.66 m
Overall height : 1.50 m
Wheelbase : 2385 mm
The appearance of the new i10 is immediately recognizable as both a i10 and both as a Hyundai. The redesigned model adopts a design that is both fluid and sculptural, if so! The front gaining elegance with a front design inspired by the latest models with the South Korean manufacturer including arrow-shaped headlights and a large air intake in the bumper.
We also note the presence of LED daytime running lights that are positioned around the fog lights. The rear part abandoned the musketeer spirit Atos with vertical lights and a fairly high speed in favor of a picture is sitting with the lights coming back on the wings. This mini hatchback also features a sloping roof line that gives a more dynamic profile and less truck to i10. Depending on the version and engines, based on the i10 wheels 13, 14 or 15 inches in diameter.
The new i10 is available with two engines base:
- L3 1.0 L, 66 hp, 94 Nm 5 Speed M/T
- L3 1.0 L GPL, 67 hp, 90 Nm 5 Speed M/T
- L4 1.2 L, 88 hp, 120 Nm, 5 Speed M/T
