Mercedes missed the SL Roadster Facelift

Mercedes on the L.A. auto show to introduce its SL roadster R231. He seems to be aligned with the AMG GT optically. So you can see for example a cooler that looks the the vision similar to Gran Turismo on the first photos. Even the distinctive cross braces has been omitted. After the facelift, show up clearly changed also the headlights and are similar to those of the AMG GT. Otherwise, the superficial modifications will likely be more in detail.

The engine could differ from the current 4.7-litre V8 Biturbo and taking instead the smaller 4-litre V8er from the AMG GT. 462 PS he is strong. Otherwise even six-cylinder and the top unit from the SL are 65 AMG available within the SL model series at the moment. The latter is a 630 HP of strong V12. The weakest engine still 333 horsepower and propels the SL 400. Inside some new materials and a larger display could be found. Possibly, there is also a new sports steering wheel from the developers.

The Mercedes SL facelift R231 on the market is to come in the spring of next year. Prices were not mentioned so far. The current sport Roadster goes anyway, from 97.758,50 euros to its customers.
