Jeep Cherokee - The new Jeep Cherokee is just born and arrived in the U.S. market that is already history. Physically difficult (front visually bad, rear Asian SUV profile without charm), a concept SUV rather than 4 × 4, various reports of production (Toledo plant in Ohio) and now this new jeep will have to make a hole in the market trying to attract buyers who were more accustomed to adventurous spirit, and a pretty crapahuteur towing capacity.
Unfortunately the direction of the Jeep and the automotive group decided otherwise in order to get closer to the world of Sport Utility Vehicles. Chrysler's management (Author's note: Sergio Marchionne himself) has placed high hopes on the new Jeep and according to some persistent rumors that she is currently working on the development of a sports version in collaboration with SRT.
Designed to appeal to fans of sports SUV, the Jeep Cherokee SRT adopt an aesthetic kit, sports and special aerodynamics and all-wheel drive and the new ZF BVA9. If it is nice, it is not sufficient in and Jeep SRT and we think the implementation of a punchy engine to drive the new SUV. No official confirmation, it evokes a turbocharged L4 of 300 hp, the 3.6 L Pentastar V6 supercharged 360-375 hp and even some talk of stronger V6 Biturbo 410 hp Ghibli.
All this is of course still the order of the rumor but it is still backed up by related sites around the automotive group of Auburn Hills. But before you think SRT Version, waiting to see what gives this new Cherokee 2014 in the U.S. market and wish him a better performance than the Dodge Dart
